Senior Advisor
Jenny is a Senior Advisor for Arctic Frontiers and is responsible for the scientific portfolio and research projects at Arctic Frontiers. This includes developing the science program during the annual conference and project management for research projects in which Arctic Frontiers takes part. Jenny’s background is within atmospheric science and science communication. Her PhD with the British Antarctic Survey and the University of Leeds focused on polar meteorology. As a Postdoctoral Researcher with the University of Nuernberg-Erlangen she researched atmosphere-cryosphere interactions on glaciers in Greenland, and also has experience in other high-mountain regions. Additionaly, she has extensive experience within science communication, mentoring of early-career researchers and event management. Jenny is from England, and she has also worked and studied both in Germany and the United States. She speaks English, German, and is acquiring Norwegian.
