Fee Waivers
Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway and Global Affairs Canada through the Global Arctic Leadership Initiative (GALI), we're offering a limited number of conference fee waivers for the Arctic Frontiers Conference. External opportunities are also listed.
Fee Waivers for Nordic Youth
With the support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Arctic Frontiers is happy to announce the availability of a limited number of fee waivers exclusively intended for individuals up to the age of 35 residing in Sweden and Finland.
These fee waivers have been established to facilitate attendance at the Arctic Frontiers Conference. Priority will be given to those living in the Northern regions of the 3 countries, and to students or those who have yet entered professional life. The allocation of waivers is at the sole discretion of Arctic Frontiers.
If you meet the fee waiver criteria, we encourage you to apply by filling out the form below as soon as possible and no later than 29th of November 2025. Responses will be given in the first week of December.

Fee Waivers for Indigenous Persons
Arctic Frontiers supports the participation of individuals with Indigenous backgrounds and is delighted to announce the availability of a limited number of fee waivers exclusively intended for eligible individuals.
These fee waivers have been established to facilitate attendance at the Arctic Frontiers Conference. Priority will be given to students or those who have yet to enter professional life. The allocation of waivers is at the sole discretion of Arctic Frontiers.
If you meet the criteria for a fee waiver, we encourage you to apply by filling out the form below as soon as possible and no later than 29th of November 2025. Responses will be given in the first week of December.
Fee Waivers for Canadian Youth
With the support from Global Affairs Canada, Arctic Frontiers is happy to announce the availability of a limited number of fee waivers exclusively intended for individuals up to the age of 35 residing in Canada.
These fee waivers have been established to facilitate attendance at the Arctic Frontiers Conference. Priority will be given to students, those who have not yet entered professional life, and those living in the three Territories (Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut), Nunavik (northern Quebec), Nunatsiavut (northern Labrador), and the Churchill region of northern Manitoba. The allocation of waivers is at the sole discretion of Arctic Frontiers.

Who? Indigenous and northern residents of the Canadian north and Arctic travelling to attend important conferences and research meetings. This is a one-time grant of up to $5,000.
