Freya is responsible for managing and coordinating the Arctic Frontiers scientific portfolio. This includes developing the science programme during the annual conference, and leading participation within research projects.
Freya’s background is in Polar climate change, particularly within marine environments. She holds a PhD in Palaeoceanography and Marine Ecology from UiT The Arctic University of Norway, and an MSc in Physical Geography and Quaternary Geology from Stockholm University. In addition, she is a keen science communicator and has extensive experience from a wide range of media and audiences.
