Innovation camp on sustainability and diversity in the seafood industry

We started the week hanging out with 30 students from The Norwegian College of Fishery Science and together with Ungt Entreprenørskap Troms og Finnmark we presented them with real-world cases from the seafood industry and challenged them to find sustainable solutions:

  • How can we increase the recruitment of women into the fishing industry?
  • How can the seafood industry use the feed in a more efficient way to reduce emissions?

Innovative solutions from young entrepreneurs

The event was a part of Arctic Innovation Week and together with our partners we wanted to connect the students with businesses, show them the opportunities that exist in the Arctic and have them contribute to innovation regarding sustainability issues in the seafood industry.

A huge thanks to the students who participated and our partners in hosting the event!
