Registration Information
All of the prices and details you need to register for Arctic Frontiers 2026: Turn of the Tide.
Delegate Type
Regular Participant
This options is relevant for most conference participants and should be selected if none of the others are applicable to you.
Invited Guest
For delegates having received invitations for the conference containing invitation codes. The code is entered on the payment page.
Arctic Frontiers Partner
Participants from Arctic Frontiers’ Partner organisations can register for a discounted rate from November 18th.
Contact Aslaug Aarsæther to receive a coupon code. Select your affiliation from the dropdown menu when you register. The code is entered on the payment page and cannot be used in combination with another discount.
Media
Arctic Frontiers permits complimentary entrance to the conference for select media, however you are still required to register. Read more about press accreditation here.
Early Career Professional
PhD candidates and professionals who received their highest degree within the past 5 years. Note that career breaks due to parental leave or personal illness are not counted in the 5 years.
Student
All those who are currently enrolled full-time in studies (high school, bachelor’s, master’s, professional education).
Student status must be confirmed by sending a photo of your student ID, semester card, or alternative document to Thomas Helland-Hansen.
Registration Prices
All prices excluding 25% VAT.
Daily Registration
Daily registration includes:
- Access to the Science, Big Picture, Side Events and Opens on the days that you register for,
- Morning and afternoon coffee break and snacks,
- Poster session and science reception on Monday evening,
- Possibility to attend the main reception on Wednesday evening (400 NOK addition).
Staying for the whole conference?
If you register for all four days, you receive a 20% discount (automatic deduction at checkout).
You can pay by credit card or invoice. Invoices must be agreed ahead of registration, please contact arcticfrontiers@vican.no for an invoice code. There is a 150 NOK addition for invoices.
No refund is available for cancellations after January 1st 2026.
Add-Ons
Lunch tickets can also be added to your registration.

- Boxed lunch (vegan or fish)
Early Bird
Register before 23:59 on November 18 to receive a 15% discount on your registration (3 days maximum, automatically deducted at checkout). Student prices are not included in the early bird discount.
Discounts do not accumulate.
Hotel
Book through our registration page for the best hotel price and guaranteed availability. We have reserved a limited number of rooms at Clarion the Edge hotel.
Prices for a single room:
- Before 5. November – 2040 NOK
- Before 24. November – 2340 NOK
- Before 03. January – 2640 NOK
- After 03. January – 2940 NOK

Side Event Speaker Discount
Speakers at side events are eligible for a discount code for the day of their side event. Please contact the side event organizer for this code.
Discounts do not accumulate.
