Throughout the year, we host a variety of events that foster dialogue between science, policy, business, and local communities.
ABROADS
Arctic Frontiers Abroad takes the conversation global.
By organizing seminars and events in key international hubs, we bring Arctic perspectives to the forefront of global policy, business, and research dialogues—strengthening partnerships and expanding awareness far beyond the region.
Arctic Frontiers Open invites the public into the Arctic dialogue. These open-access events—ranging from panel debates to community talks—make complex Arctic issues more accessible, fostering public engagement and building bridges between science, society, and decision-makers.
Our Emerging Leaders program gathers outstanding young professionals from science, business, and policy for an intensive week of learning, dialogue, and networking. Participants develop a deep understanding of Arctic challenges and opportunities while building lasting international networks.
The Arctic Frontiers Student Forum is an international and interdisciplinary program that gathers bachelor’s and master’s students from across the Arctic.
The forum provides a dynamic platform for cross-border networking, peer learning, and professional development alongside the Arctic Frontiers conference.
In partnership with the Northern Norwegian Science Center, Arctic Frontiers brings science to the next generation through hands-on learning experiences in Tromsø. Science for Kids introduces playful, interactive activities to spark curiosity in kindergarten children, while Science for Schools engages lower and upper secondary students with workshops that connect classroom learning to real-world Arctic science.
